Why haven’t we met earlier?
- Because there is a belief that it is better not to show weaknesses, that you have to deal
with everything on your own, that it is my fault that you aren’t receiving the results you hope to accomplish, because others are coping better. - Because we often think that when a family situation is difficult, it would be near impossible to change our way of being so there is no point in trying anyway. Even if it is better, we feel a great deal of guilt and we don’t know how to handle it.
- Because asking for help, especially from the therapist, is still associated with shame – it is whispered, hidden.
- Because sometimes we get stuck in something difficult and have a feeling of going in circles.
- Because without a helping hand it is not easy to get out of a situation.
- Because sometimes it seems to us that nothing can change anymore, that we will remain the same forever, we stop believing.
- Because the fear of a change, of a new beginning, even if it is in the right direction, can also paralyze the willingness to recieve help for a long time.

Practical information
1. The way I work
I help integrally. I adapt working methods individually, to each person and problem. I am happy to work in contact with the body and emotions, I work in accordance with family and process traumas. I work in individual contact, with couples, families, I run groups and workshops.
I don’t prescribe medications, but sometimes I recommend contacting another specialist or
recommend a different course of action.
2. How to make an appointment
It’s best to make an appointment by phone, then we will make an appointment, and I will find out
what I can help with.
During the meeting, we set a goal of progress and work together on how to achieve it.

4. You must know
APPOINTMENTS
Appointments will be 50 minutes in duration, once per week / every second week, at a time we agree on. Although some sessions may be more or less frequent as needed. The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. You are responsible for arriving on time; if you are late, your appointment will still end on the scheduled time. Kindly note that I have 10 minutes between clients; which I utilize for
administrative purposes, planning your next session and sending your invoice.
CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide me with a (at least) 24 hour notice. I require this time to contact clients on my waiting list. If you miss a session without cancelling, or cancel within less than 24 hour notice, my policy is that you will be responsible for payment (unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control). If it is possible, I will try to find another time to reschedule the appointment.
FEES AND NON-PAYMENT OF FEES
My standard fee at the moment is 60 euro per session. In order for us to set realistic treatment goals and priorities, it is important to evaluate what resources you have available to pay for your treatment. You are responsible for paying on the day of the appointment (via bank account or tikkie application and cash). If you are unable to pay for a session, due to unforeseen financial constraints please discuss this with me beforehand in order to make an arrangement. Please note that it is my right to employ a Debt Collector if you do not pay for professional services provided.
If you have health insurance, it will usually provide coverage for mental health treatment. If you are unsure, kindly contact your health insurance and ascertain whether they will pay for your therapy sessions.
